Job summary

Randstad Education in Leeds is seeking an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for supply across Leeds and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible scheduling to fit your availability while supporting ongoing career progression.

You will hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification, have UK nursery experience, EYFS knowledge, and a valid enhanced DBS with two professional references. DBS via Update Service supported.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this supply role, you must hold relevant UK experience working within Early Years settings and possess the following:

• Qualification: A recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or NNEB).

• UK Experience: Proven post-qualification experience working within a UK nursery or early years foundation stage (EYFS) setting.

• Knowledge & Delivery: In-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding standards, and child development principles.

• Flexibility & Adaptability: Confidence to quickly integrate into new nursery environments, build instant rapport with staff and children, and follow established daily routines seamlessly.

• Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one through Randstad), along with two professional references covering recent childcare roles in the UK.
