Job summary

Randstad Education in Leeds is seeking a Level 2 Nursery Assistant for supply roles across Leeds and surrounding areas. This flexible position lets you choose days, hours and locations while gaining hands-on experience in multiple welcoming nurseries.

You will need a Level 2 Early Years or Childcare qualification and UK nursery experience, with an enhanced DBS and two references. Weekly pay and local consultant support are included.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Level 2 Early Years or Childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 NVQ or CACHE Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce).
• UK Experience: Recent, hands‑on experience working within a UK nursery, preschool, or early years foundation stage (CF'S) setting.
• Early Years Knowledge: A solid understanding of early childhood development, daily routines, and essential safeguarding practices.
• Personal Qualities: A warm, proactive approach to supporting room leaders, paired with the adaptability to fit into different nursery teams smoothly.
• Compliance Checks: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) and two professional references covering your recent childcare work in the UK.

Responsibilities
