Job summary

Caring Kindergartens is seeking a dedicated nursery practitioner with a Level 3 childcare qualification to join the team in Northampton. You will observe and assess children, plan engaging activities and support their development in line with EYFS. A strong command of English and commitment to safeguarding are essential.

The role offers a collaborative nursery environment, ongoing training and opportunities for professional growth within Caring Kindergartens.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Cleared DBS check

Responsibilities

• Observe, record and assess children's progress with observations and photos.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan and deliver a range of play experiences supporting development.
• Ensure activities align with next steps, observations and interests under EYFS.
• Support each child’s self-esteem, confidence and competence.
• Model positive behaviour and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies through training and workshops.
• Uphold hygiene standards according to Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with nursery team to create a positive environment.
