Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited seeks a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery offering bright, spacious spaces and a large outdoor garden. The role focuses on high-quality EYFS-based care for children, with a strong emphasis on learning through play and development in a supportive team.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 EY qualification (or higher), have nursery experience, and demonstrate safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• Confidence planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• A passion for supporting children's confidence, independence and learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Commitment to providing high-quality Early Years care and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that encourage learning through play.
• Support children's confidence, independence and individual development.
• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe, assess and record children's developmental progress.
• Support daily routines and children's individual care needs.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures.
