Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a private day nursery in Middlesbrough. This long-term role offers an immediate start and the chance to progress to permanent employment for the right candidate.

You will work alongside an experienced team to create a warm, engaging learning environment, supporting children through their Early Years journey with plans and activities that promote communication, independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting.
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and have fun.
• A warm, caring and positive personality.
• Plenty of enthusiasm, creativity and energy.
• A flexible, proactive and 'can-do' attitude.
• The ability to work confidently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.
• Help plan and deliver engaging activities, encourage communication and language development, support growing independence and celebrate children’s achievements.
