Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a private day nursery in Durham. Immediate start with a long-term role and potential to become permanent. You will work with a supportive team to plan engaging activities, support language development and help children feel happy, confident and secure.

This role offers £14–£15 per hour, a PAYE payroll, and ongoing CPD opportunities through the My-Progression channel, with 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting.
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and have fun.
• A warm, caring and positive personality.
• Plenty of enthusiasm, creativity and energy.
• A flexible, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude.
• The ability to work confidently as part of a team.
