Job summary

YMCA Black Country Group is seeking Nursery Practitioners to join our busy nursery that cares for up to 100 children. You will contribute to a welcoming, safe environment where families feel valued and supported.

Level 3 qualified and experienced with EYFS, you will plan and observe for your key group, promote good practice, and support parents to extend their skills and confidence, helping their children's wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified and ideally experienced in planning and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
• Ability to observe, plan and deliver learning enriched activities for your key group.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to promoting good practice and maintaining a high-quality provision
• Safeguarding the welfare of children they come into contact with
• Completing observations, planning, and preparing learning enriched activities for your key group using the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Offering support and guidance to parents/carers enabling them to extend their own skills and boost their confidence and your child’s emotional wellbeing.
