Job summary

YMCA Black Country Group's Day Nursery on St James's Road is seeking a dedicated practitioner to support children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You will plan engaging activities, observe development, and work closely with families to foster confidence and learning.

You will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and experience with the EYFS Curriculum. This is a Term Time Only contract, with a competitive salary and benefits including EAP, staff discounts, and CPD opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities for your key group using the Early Years Foundation Stage

• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, offering guidance to boost their confidence
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality provision and promoting best practice
• Create a safe, stimulating environment where children can grow and thrive
