Job summary

Nexter Ltd is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join welcoming nurseries in Lewisham and SE18. Whether newly qualified or returning to childcare, you will be supported by a friendly team and mentorship as you build confidence in the EYFS setting.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment for children.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities based on EYFS.
• Support daily routines including meals, outdoor play, and rest periods.
• Build open relationships with Parents/Carers and share updates.
• Collaborate with the team to guide and support children’s early learning.

The Caring Practitioner We Need:

We are looking for warm, approachable educators who want to make a real difference in the early years. You do not need years of unbroken experience—just a great attitude, your Level 3 qualification, and a love for working with children!

What you will be doing:

Helping to create a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment where children feel secure and ready to learn.

Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Supporting children through their daily routines, including mealtimes, outdoor play, and rest periods.

Building lovely, open relationships with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's daily adventures.

Working closely with a friendly team who will be there to guide, support, and collaborate with you every step of the way.
