Job summary

Keep Education in St Albans is seeking a Nursery Nurse Level 3 to create a nurturing, safe and engaging environment for children aged 0–5 years. You will plan, deliver and review creative learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children's development through play-based activities and positive relationships.

You will observe, assess and record progress to inform planning, share updates with parents and carers, and help with daily routines.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
• Confidence supporting children’s learning and development across all EYFS areas.
• Proven ability to build supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and review creative learning experiences in line with EYFS framework.
• Support children’s individual development and well-being through play-based learning.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to inform planning and share updates with parents and carers.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Support with daily routines such as meal times, toileting, and outdoor activities.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.

Education

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent

Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training desirable (or willingness to complete)
