Job summary

SOHL ASSOCIATES LIMITED is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to plan, implement and evaluate activities ensuring high quality experiences for children within the EYFS framework.

The role involves maintaining Learning Journals, sharing progress with parents, and working in partnership with families and staff to meet each child's needs. You will contribute to safeguarding, risk assessments and nursery routines, while supporting staff and students within the team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent in early years settings.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and early learning goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate activities to ensure high quality learning experiences for children.
• Hold a key person role for a group of children and liaise with parents to support development.
• Record observations of children's play and progress using statutory guidance.
• Maintain Learning Journals and share information with parents/carers.
• Ensure safe environment through regular risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Work with the Nursery Manager/Deputy to support staff and students and participate in meetings.
