Job summary

Eurotest Ltd in Brigstock is offering a Level 3 Materials Technician apprenticeship. The role is based in a laboratory and on site, with a structured 20-month training plan delivered by Tiro.

You’ll perform tests on concrete, soils and aggregates, while gaining hands-on experience and reporting results. The package includes a starting salary of £27,040 per year, 20 days leave (plus bank holidays), and regular CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must hold a clean UK driving licence.
• Access to your own car.
• Be eligible to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work in a laboratory environment; prepare samples and conduct tests on concrete, soils and aggregates.
• Book samples and report results as required; calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Support training period with structured learning and on‑the‑job practice.
• Develop skills to progress to more senior laboratory or quality roles.
