Job summary

Safapac is offering a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship in Cambridgeshire (Peterborough area). The role supports day-to-day lab operations and provides hands-on training in sampling, testing, data recording and safety. Start ASAP with a salary of £24,784/year and 37.5 hours per week.

The programme combines online and in-person training over 20 months, with mentoring and CPD opportunities to develop practical laboratory skills and professional competence.

Qualifications

• Extremely detail oriented and accurate

Responsibilities

• Receive, sample and analyse veterinary materials
• Document laboratory testing and records
• Use ERP system to quarantine or release materials
• Support development and improvement of analytical methods
• Carry out analysis to maintain cross-contamination controls
