Busy Bees in Portishead is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Assistant to support the Bee Curious curriculum, deliver engaging activities and mentor unqualified team members. Based in Basingstoke Hospital, this role offers a nurturing, professional environment within a busy nursery setting.

As part of a passionate team, you’ll create safe, inclusive learning spaces, track developmental progress, and take on key responsibilities with families.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding - each child is unique.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering strong partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
