Job summary

REESON Education in Lambeth, South London, is recruiting a passionate Early Years Educator to join a welcoming primary school from 9 November 2026. This position requires a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare and offers a full-time, long-term contract with a salary of £105-£120 per day, dependent on experience.

You will support children across the EYFS, plan engaging activities, observe progress, and work closely with teachers, assistants and parents.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience working with young children in nursery, Reception or primary school settings.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development across the EYFS curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities through structured learning and play.
• Encourage early literacy, phonics, numeracy, communication and social development.
• Observe children's progress and contribute to assessments and learning records.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and well-organised learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and parents.
