Academics is recruiting a Level 3 CACHE SEN Teaching Assistant for temporary, flexible ongoing supply across Sheffield specialist SEN schools. The role supports pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other needs, helping them access learning and develop skills in a caring environment.

You will work with teachers and staff to deliver targeted support, encourage communication, and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 CACHE SEN Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a specialist setting is preferred.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Academics is recruiting a Level 3 CACHE SEN Teaching Assistant for temporary, ongoing opportunities across specialist SEN schools in Sheffield. This role is ideal for a qualified, caring and committed individual who wants to support children and young people with additional needs in a specialist educational environment.

Position

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £92.56 - £110 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a date that suits you

About the Role

As a Level 3 CACHE SEN Teaching Assistant in Sheffield, you will work alongside teaching staff to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing. Pupils may have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties or complex learning needs. You will help create a supportive environment where pupils can develop skills, build confidence and access learning in a way that meets their individual needs.

• Confidence adapting support to different communication, learning and behavioural needs
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
