Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a patient, enthusiastic Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND setting on the Wirral. The role involves supporting pupils with learning, communication and emotional regulation needs throughout the school day.

You may work 1:1, in small groups or in classrooms, helping pupils access lessons and develop confidence and life skills. A Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent is preferred, with a calm and adaptable approach.

Qualifications

• Applicants should ideally hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is preferred.
• Calm, reliable, adaptable and confident building positive relationships with pupils.

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a patient, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND setting on the Wirral.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young people with additional needs and wants to develop their experience within a structured, supportive specialist environment.

You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with their learning, communication, emotional regulation, independence and engagement throughout the school day. The role will involve working with pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism and associated communication and learning needs.

You may support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom, helping them access lessons, build confidence and develop important academic and life skills.
