Job summary

Connex Education is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Primary) to support pupils across Taunton in a range of primary schools. The role offers flexible day-to-day supply, longer-term placements, and learning opportunities that fit around your commitments.

You will work in various settings, helping pupils engage and reach their potential, providing one-to-one and small group support, and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting is beneficial.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion, and diversity.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
