Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Bacup is seeking a caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a small primary school from January 2027 until the end of the academic year.

The role is part-time and mornings only, with 1:1 support for a pupil in Key Stage 1 and high SEN needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies, promote learning engagement, independence and positive behaviours, and create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification required.

A small and welcoming primary school in Bacup is seeking a caring and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2027 until the end of the academic year.

This rewarding role will involve providing 1:1 support within Key Stage 1 for a pupil with high SEN needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping the child access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in KS1.
