Job summary

St Mary's RC Primary School in Denton is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our Early Years unit and provide lunchtime supervision. The appointment is a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027, with term-time hours (32.5 per week).

The successful candidate will be child-centred, patient and creative, with experience in Early Years and a willingness to support the Catholic ethos of our school.

Salary: Grade D. scale 7 £21,069 to Scale 10 - £22,099 (actual salary)

Hours Per Week: 32.5 (8.30 am to 3.30 pm with 30 min lunch - term time only)

Base Location: St Mary's RC Primary School, Kynder Street, Denton, M34 2AR

Assessment Date: Week commencing 19th October 2026

Start Date: 2nd November 2026
