Job summary

NPT Pass is seeking a Level 2+ Teaching Assistant for Ysgol Maes Y Coed Special. The role is temporary until 31 August 2027, 32 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year). Start date ASAP. Salary £19,116-£20,365 per annum, subject to term time adjustment.

Experience of working in a school with pupils with severe/profound learning needs is essential. Welsh language skills are not necessary. You must be able to work in a team and show initiative.

The salary stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1 st September.

The Governing Body seeks to appoint the above teaching assistant. Experience of working in a school with pupils with severe / profound learning needs is essential. Welsh language skills are not necessary. Successful applicants must be able to work in a team & show initiative.
