Newchurch Community Primary School in Culcheth, Warrington is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our caring, enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will support learning, promote inclusion and wellbeing, and work within a committed staff to ensure high standards for all pupils.

Visits to the school are encouraged. Interviews are scheduled and the role is a fixed term contract for 27.5 hours per week, with details available from the school office.

Qualifications

• Promote inclusion and wellbeing of all children
• Engage and support children in their learning through a variety of strategies, adjusting activities for the pupil they are working with to support leaning styles and individual needs.
• Feedback to teaching staff regarding progress and outcomes.
• Have the ability to work constructively as part of a team.
• Have a positive approach to managing behaviour.
• Develop positive relationships with children, staff and parents to promote the progress and attainment of children.
• Set high expectations for themselves and the children they work with.
• Provide intimate care according to our Intimate Care Policy.
• Show flexibility and draw on a range of strategies in helping pupils achieve positive outcomes in their learning.
