Qualifications

• Experience delivering and leading swimming lessons across age groups.
• Knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim framework.
• Positive and professional attitude toward work.
• For Early years lessons, NRASTC or NPLQ desirable; we offer a course if you don't have it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality and motivational lessons to a wide range of ages and abilities.
• Follow schemes of work and course plans for all group lessons.
• Work in line with Swim England Learn to Swim framework with emphasis on stroke technique.
• Complete registers and assessment matrices to monitor swimmers' progress within each term.
• Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to the university Learn to Swim programme.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of teaching and correcting technique on all 4 strokes.
• Show willingness to learn and attend training and meetings.
