At Academics, we're dedicated to making a positive impact on students' lives. We're seeking a dynamic Level 2 SEND Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team of Primary Staff in South Staffordshire.

You will provide one-to-one support to a primary-aged pupil with behavioural needs in local Primary Mainstream Schools. Your focus will be on offering dedicated support, working intensively to assist the child. You should be proactive, resilient, and committed to helping the pupil achieve progress. Your responsibilities include working on learning activities, promoting confidence, and encouraging independence to succeed.

You’ll be…

• An experienced teaching assistant or learning support assistant familiar with working with young people with challenging behaviours, ADHD, or other disabilities.
• Experienced working with SEN children.
• Comfortable working on a 1:1 basis.
• Capable of engaging students with excellent communication skills.
• Focused on promoting happiness, self-reliance, and positive interactions.
