Job Description:

Principal Resourcing are currently seeking to recruit a Level 2 Secondary Teaching Assistant for an Academy based close to Hull city centre.

The academy are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can work on a part-time, temporary basis as soon as possible.

Skills and experience they are looking for:

• GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, in both English and Maths

• Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these

• Good communication skills both oral and written

• Experience of working with young people, preferably in a school setting

• Ability to use a range of technology to support the role

• Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders

• Ability to work constructively as part of a team

• Completion of DfES Teacher Assistant NVQ Level 3, or equivalent

• Working with or caring for children of relevant age

• Understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these

• Emergency First Aid or First aid at work qualification

• Previous experience of working with young people preferably in a school setting
