Job summary

Five Education is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to provide SEND support across Oxfordshire settings. You will work closely with nursery staff and families to support children's progress and wellbeing.

The role is permanent and full-time, based in Oxfordshire locations. A Level 3 or equivalent and experience with young children are preferred. DBS update service is required; a new DBS can be processed with a small fee.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in nursery, childcare, or SEND setting or transferable skills.
• Calm, caring and flexible approach to supporting children with a range of needs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Genuine passion for early years development and inclusive practice.
• Patience, resilience and a proactive attitude towards supporting children's wellbeing and behaviour.

Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship or Skilled Worker visa available.
• Provide two recent references.
• Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply.
• Note: If you do not have a Non‑Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will help process a new one at £62.70, refunded after 20 days of work.
