Job summary

Five Education in Oxfordshire is seeking a caring Nursery Practitioner to support young children with a range of additional needs in a welcoming setting. The role involves working closely with staff and families to promote progress and wellbeing.

You should have a Level 3 qualification, experience with young children, and a calm, patient approach. DBS Update Service, two recent references, and right to work in the UK are required. Training and mentoring are provided, with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with young children, ideally in nursery/SEND.
• Calm, caring approach to supporting children with a range of needs.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Genuine passion for early years development and inclusive practice.
• Patience and resilience in supporting wellbeing and behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with nursery staff and parents/carers to support each child's progress and wellbeing.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment throughout the nursery day.
• Support children during meal times, outdoor play, and daily routines.
