Job summary

Grandir UK Limited's Dicky Birds Nursery and Preschool on Pelham Road in Wimbledon is hiring a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to care for and support young children, fostering curiosity and ensuring safe, stimulating daily routines.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, with responsibilities including providing rich, age-appropriate activities, maintaining EYFS standards, and communicating with parents; a friendly, supportive environment with regular pay reviews and enhanced family benefits.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children
• Ensure all children receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Prepare and support children's activities
• In the absence of the Team/Room Leader, maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment
• Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional and relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
