Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support mainstream secondary schools across Central and South Bristol, with both full-time and part-time opportunities starting ASAP.

Roles include 1:1 SEND, intervention and inclusion-based positions in KS3 and KS4, working with students who have SEND such as Autism and ADHD, and collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams.

Qualifications

• Level 2/Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification required
• Experience supporting KS3/KS4 students in secondary setting
• Ability to support students with SEND (Autism/ADHD) and monitor progress

Responsibilities

• Support students across KS3 and KS4
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support
• Assist with literacy, numeracy and targeted interventions
• Support behaviour and emotional regulation alongside teachers and pastoral teams

Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next school?

I am recruiting for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to support mainstream secondary schools across Central and South Bristol.

I'm particularly interested in experienced TAs who are confident stepping into a school environment, understand how to support learning effectively and can build positive relationships with secondary-aged students.

Opportunities range from general classroom support to 1:1 SEND, intervention and inclusion-based roles, allowing us to find a setting that suits your strengths and experience.

About the Role

As a Level 2 / Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your role could include:

• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting students with SEND, including Autism and ADHD
• Helping students understand tasks and remain engaged with learning
• Delivering literacy, numeracy or targeted interventions
• Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
• Promoting confidence, independence and positive classroom participation
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation where required
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
