Job description

Due to increased demand, we are looking for an Early years practitioner to join our growing team.

The hours of work are between 8-45am - 3.30pm, term time in our 18 month -5 year nursery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports secure attachments
• Planning and delivering routines and activities based on the EYFS
• Providing responsive care that supports each child’s emotional and physical needs
• Building strong partnerships with families
• Completing observations, assessments and progress tracking
• Supporting children with additional needs and working with external professionals when required
• Ensuring a safe, clean and calm space for children to learn and grow

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 2/3 childcare qualification (essential) or above
• Excellent understanding of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding
• Strong communication skills and a kind, reflective approach to leadership
