Job summary

Greenacre Environmental Systems is expanding its delivery team in Dewsbury and seeks a Project Engineer for a permanent role delivering LEV compliance inspection projects across Yorkshire. The role involves on-site inspections, report writing, and coordination with clients and operations teams.

Qualified applicants will have mechanical engineering education, potential BOHS P601/P602 certification, strong time management, reporting, and leadership abilities, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
• BOHS P601/P602 certification is advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducting LEV compliance examinations per standards and regs.
• Create client reports, maintain records and documentation.
• Communicate results to operational managers clearly.
• Identify engineering issues, root causes and improvements.
• Manage project from enquiry to final acceptance and client meetings.
• Ensure technical information is readily available.
