Job summary

Greenacre Environmental Systems Ltd in Dewsbury is expanding its delivery team and recruiting a Trainee Project Engineer on a permanent basis. You will deliver LEV compliance inspection projects and attend sites across Yorkshire to complete inspections.

The role suits someone with ambition to tackle challenges. Candidates may hold BOHS P601/P602 or a Mechanical Engineering background, with report writing skills and knowledge of ventilation systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree / HND/ HNC level in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience and/or knowledge of ventilation systems is mandatory.
• BOHS P601 or P602 certified is highly advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day-to-day workloads within a busy environment.
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written communication with an ability to create engineering reports.
• Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work with, lead and motivate others, and be able to bring projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough LEV compliance examinations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create client reports and maintain accurate records, calibrations logs, and documentation.
• Communicate results clearly to the operational managers.
• Identify engineering issues, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Project liaison from initial enquiry stage to final acceptance and documentation, and meeting with Clients as required.
• Ensure all technical information is available when required.
