Job summary

Zurich Insurance is seeking a LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation)/Electrical Engineer Surveyor in the Castle Donnington area. This role includes bespoke training to conduct statutory inspections, issue reports, and maintain client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in engineering, along with experience in pumps or related machinery. The total salary ranges from £57,594 to £65,000 depending on experience, accompanied by various benefits including a non-contributory pension.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Time-served or apprenticeship experience.
• Willingness to work paid overtime.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory inspections and provide expert engineering judgments.
• Report findings, issue electronic certificates, and keep accurate records.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams.
• Self-manage diary and maintain client relationships.

Skills

A Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline

Self-study for IEng status

Compex qualified

P601 LEV qualification

Time-served or apprenticeship experience

Hands-on experience in pumps, motors or related machinery

Full valid UK driving licence

Willingness to work paid overtime
