Job summary

LEV Design and Contracts Engineer role in Jarrow, Tyne and Wear, within Expervent now part of the MARCH Group. The engineer will design LEV systems, carry out site surveys, and manage projects from design to handover across the UK, with travel as required.

You will produce 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with HSG258 and COSHH. A UK driving licence and security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing LEV systems.
• Knowledge of HSG258 and COSHH relating to LEV.
• Proficient in 2D/3D AutoCAD for production drawings.
• Experience managing engineering projects from design to installation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys for processes, contaminants and equipment.
• Design LEV systems per HSG258.
• Produce 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings for layouts and fabrication.
• Prepare design calculations, specs and reports.
• Lead client design reviews and manage feedback.
• Manage projects from order to handover.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors and site activities.
• Provide technical support to production teams.
• Attend site meetings and supervise installation.
