On-Site LEV Technician: Path to LEV Engineer

Job summary

James Grace is recruiting multiple site-based LEV Technicians to support a major UK infrastructure project with Local Exhaust Ventilation and Dilution Ventilation systems.

You will perform inspection, testing, maintenance and reporting, keep records, assist with installation and commissioning, attend safety meetings and uphold RAMS and COSHH requirements. This role offers a clear progression to LEV Engineer levels and long-term project security.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Able to pass Basic DBS and nuclear site vetting.
• Willing to obtain an NNB pass.
• Willing to undertake LEV training and progress.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day inspection, testing, maintenance and reporting on LEV and Dilution Ventilation systems
• Maintain accurate records, registers and certification, including data entry into client compliance systems
• Support installation, reconfiguration and re-commissioning of equipment, ducting and hoods as site layouts change
• Perform filter changes, consumables management and basic ducting upkeep
• Communicate daily with the client's on-site technical team regarding equipment status and planned works
• Attend site briefings, toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Follow all site rules, RAMS, COSHH controls and PPE requirements
• Assist LEV Engineers and Senior LEV Engineers with installation, commissioning and testing
• Escalate issues outside your competence promptly
• Contribute to general housekeeping of the team's site base
