Job summary

Connells Group, the Home of Opportunity, is seeking a highly motivated Lettings Negotiator to join our Swetenhams residential lettings team in Chester. This role offers industry-leading training, a clear career ladder, and exposure to lettings, sales, mortgage services, land, and new homes.

A base salary of £25k with uncapped commission drives earnings as you progress. You will generate rental valuations, conduct viewings, negotiate terms, and progress lets to move-in, joining a high-performing

Qualifications

• Ideally lettings or sales experience.
• Able to generate new business in a target-driven environment.
• Deliver outstanding customer care and service.
• Be numerate and detail-oriented; IT literate.

Your Role as a Lettings Negotiator

The main purpose of your role is to deliver exceptional service to customers while driving business results. Your responsibilities include:

• Generating and booking rental valuations and market appraisals
• Conducting property viewings with prospective tenants
• Negotiating rental terms and agreeing lets
• Progressing lets through to move-in

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Ideally have previous lettings or sales experience
• Be able to generate new business in a target-driven environment
• Deliver outstanding customer care and service
• Be resilient, positive, organised, numerate and detail-oriented
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be IT literate (MS Office, internet and email systems)
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
