Job summary

The High School Leckhampton is seeking a Casual Lettings & Facilities Assistant to support the school lettings programme. You will help ensure facilities are safe, welcoming, and well presented for community users during evenings and weekends.

Role involves independent work, being a key holder, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards across the site. Training opportunities and on-site parking are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the school for lettings.
• Act as a key holder and carry out facility checks.
• Set up and clear away equipment; light cleaning and tidying.
• Provide excellent customer service to hirers and maintain a welcoming environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Casual Lettings & Facilities Assistant to join our supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is committed to providing excellent customer service. You will play a key role in supporting the school's lettings programme, ensuring our facilities are safe, welcoming and well-presented for community users during evenings and weekends. Key responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing the school for lettings
• Acting as a key holder
• Carrying out facility checks
• Setting up and clearing away equipment
• Undertaking light cleaning and tidying duties
• Providing exceptional customer service to hirers using our facilities.
  An effective communicator with strong organisational skills
• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work evenings and weekends
• Self-motivated and able to use their own initiative
• Comfortable working independently when required
• Approachable, professional and customer-focused
• Committed to contributing positively to the life of the school
• Willing to participate in training and development opportunities
• Physically capable of undertaking manual handling and lifting tasks
• Able to set up and move equipment, tables and chairs as required
