Job summary

Frome Community College is seeking a Lesson Supervisor to join our cover team. The role supports teaching staff and provides class supervision when a teacher is absent. Working hours are Monday to Friday during term time, with inset days.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to work effectively with young people and as part of a team.
• Ability to encourage students to learn and use their own initiative with good planning.
• Computer literacy and confidence with classroom technology.
• Must have 5+ GCSEs A-C including English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide class supervision when a teacher is absent.
