Job summary

Ten-Percent.Co.Uk seeks a construction and development finance solicitor to join its Central London office, with hybrid working and some weekly office attendance near Liverpool Street. Ideal candidates will have 3–7 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law and/or real estate finance, with experience in development finance and lender-side transactions.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law and/or real estate finance
• Experience in property development finance and lender-side transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client-handling skills
• Experience reviewing construction contracts, appointments and collateral warranties

Responsibilities

• Act for lenders financing property development and construction projects
• Advise on construction packages underpinning developments
• Advise on related finance and security arrangements
• Review and negotiate construction contracts, professional appointments and warranties
• Identify construction-related risks from a lender's perspective
• Manage matters with a high degree of autonomy
• Provide clear, commercial, and solution-focused advice to clients
• Liaise directly with lender clients and other advisers
• Support the development of the firm's offering across construction, development finance and secured lending
• Maintain excellent client service standards and build long-term client relationships
• Contribute to business development and growth of the department
• Ensure compliance with SRA, AML and internal regulatory requirements
