Job summary

Village Hotels Leeds South is seeking a vibrant Leisure Sales Manager to lead our Membership Advisors through a major refurbishment. You will deliver confident, 1-to-1 sales tours, drive the pipeline, and sell past the temporary disruption with a compelling vision and high EQ.

You will recruit, induct and coach the team, manage daily rotas, and protect revenue by tracking promotions and metrics while keeping morale sky-high in challenging times.

The Role Outline: Your Week at a Glance

As our Leisure Sales Manager, you are the commercial engine of the Leisure Club. During this exciting transition, your biggest asset will be your high EQ and your natural ability to talk to people. You will lead, coach, and drive our team of Membership Advisors, using pure confidence and natural warmth to sell past the temporary building work. You are not just managing a desk; you are out on the floor, conducting brilliant sales tours, managing the pipeline, and building a highly resilient, positive team culture.

Your Remit: What You Will Actually Be Doing

We can teach you our systems, but we cannot teach you how to motivate a sales team through a major refurbishment. We trust you to handle:

• The Vision Sell: Selling past the scaffolding. You will conduct confident, informed one to one sales tours, using your high EQ to talk prospects through the temporary disruption and secure their membership based on trust.
• The People Leadership: Managing the morale. You will recruit, induct, and train your Membership Advisors, running the daily rotas while keeping the team's energy absolutely sky high when things get challenging.
• The Commercial Reality: Protecting the margin. You will oversee the prospect database, track promotional activities, and dive into the finer financial details like leavers, arrears, and direct debits to protect our revenue.
• The January Pipeline: Prepping for the launch. You will relentlessly drive the numbers and roll out quarterly sales plans now, ensuring that the second the refurbishment finishes, your joiner numbers absolutely explode.
