Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join a south Manchester practice delivering leisure and community projects across the UK. You will lead architectural delivery from concept to completion, driving innovative design across multiple RIBA stages and collaborating with internal teams and external consultants.

The role focuses on leisure centres, health and wellbeing facilities, and community hubs.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered Architect with PQE to lead leisure-focused developments.
• Strong design and technical knowledge across multiple RIBA stages.
• Experience coordinating consultants and client-facing engagement.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural delivery of leisure and community projects from concept through to completion.
• Develop innovative, practical and viable design solutions.
• Produce and coordinate high-quality architectural information.
• Work collaboratively with internal design teams and external consultants.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for projects through relevant RIBA work stages.
• Support development and coordination of technical design information.
• Ensure projects meet programme, budget and quality standards.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members.
