Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a natural leader to act as Leisure Team Leader on our busy gym and pool floor. You will oversee shifts, coach Leisure Assistants, and ensure impeccable standards while the managers are away.

You will handle guest concerns on the spot, assist with rotas and inductions, and uphold health and safety across the club. The role offers training, development, and a clear path to management within a supportive Village culture.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced leisure environment experience required.
• Attitude, emotional intelligence and natural leadership matter.
• Willingness to train and develop others.

Responsibilities

• The Floor Leadership: Running the shift as the visible leader on the gym and pool floor, ensuring standards are flawless and the team remains motivated.
• The Guest Experience: Handling member complaints and practical problems on the spot to protect the club’s reputation.
• The Team Development: Assisting with daily rotas, training, and inductions to help team members develop skills and careers.
• The Operational Standards: Enforcing health and safety rules, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing the club for every shift.
