Join swim! – The UK’s leading premium Learn to Swim experience, and help change lives through swimming.

We are seeking engaging individuals to work as leisure operations assistants across centres in the UK. Your main responsibilities will include supervising swimming lessons to ensure safety, delivering lifesaving and first aid support, and providing excellent customer service in a premium environment.

You will support the teaching team, supervise the pool, and use technology to enhance customer engagement. The role involves teamwork, attending training sessions, and sharing best practices.

This position involves weekday evening hours (3:00 - 8:30 pm) and weekends (8:00 am - 7:00 pm). We operate lessons during these times and are committed to creating a positive impact through swimming education.

Duties

• Provide lifeguard duties during learn-to-swim lessons for children aged 0-11, from non-swimmers to competent swimmers.
• Deliver exceptional care to swimmers and their families, both in and out of the water.
• Ensure all equipment is used, stored, cleaned, and maintained safely.
• Complete health and safety checks electronically, as directed by the swim! manager.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility at all times.
• Engage in personal development through training, observations, and feedback to uphold high standards.
• Act as a positive role model to encourage children to reach their swimming potential.
• Support the swim! experience by assisting with customer inquiries, tours, memberships, and team training.
• Distribute awards and certificates to celebrate achievements.
• Follow all swim! policies, including safeguarding, equality, health and safety, and operational procedures (training provided).
