Delta Hotels by Marriott Breadsall Priory is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the leisure club. You will clean facilities, floors and wet areas, follow safety procedures and help the team deliver a welcoming environment for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but training can be provided.
• Attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.

• Friendly and approachable manner when dealing with members and guests.
• Understanding of health and safety and cleaning procedures, or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the leisure club, including the gym/studio, changing rooms, showers, toilets.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors as required.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, showers, sinks, lockers, benches and other frequently touched surfaces.
• Replenish toiletries, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels and other cleaning supplies.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and correctly.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and products are used safely and stored securely.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, spillages or damaged equipment to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in wet areas to help prevent slips, trips and the spread of infection.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from members, guests and colleagues.
• Complete cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all duties are carried out to the required standard.
• Maintain a professional, friendly and helpful attitude towards members and guests at all times.
• Work as part of the leisure team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the club.
