Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a Leisure Club Assistant for Crowne Plaza Glasgow on a casual/part-time basis. You will engage guests, support pool and gym supervision, and assist with class delivery and front desk duties to ensure a welcoming, safe leisure experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within leisure or hospitality.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, provide information about facilities, services and programs.
• Ensure equipment and areas are clean, safe and well-maintained per health and safety protocols.
• Monitor pool and gym areas to ensure a safe environment for users.
• Assist with delivery of leisure and fitness programs, including classes and one-on-one sessions.
• Carry out front desk operations, including bookings, payments and membership inquiries.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks and report issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about facilities, services, and programmes.

• Facility Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and areas are clean, safe, and in good working condition, following health and safety protocols.

• Pool and Gym Supervision: Monitor activity within the pool and gym areas to ensure a safe environment for all users.

• Programme Support: Assist with the delivery of leisure and fitness programmes, including group classes and one-on-one sessions.

• Administrative Duties: Carry out front desk operations, including bookings, payments, and membership inquiries.

• Health and Safety: Conduct regular checks and report any issues to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
