Leisure Club Assistant

Our Leisure Club Assistants support in providing a successful Health & Fitness offering to members and guests, promoting and supporting behavioural change in achieving fitness goals and the benefits of healthy living. The role reports directly to the Leisure Club Manager and is part of a team based at our hotel on Ipswich Road, Norwich.

Leisure Club Assistant responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring the club is always presented in the appropriate condition by completing the correct daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
2. Achieving new member sales, renewals, and net membership growth metrics.
3. Supporting the Club Management Team with local marketing initiatives to drive new member sales, membership headcount, and the club's community presence.
4. Demonstrating a pro-active approach to Health & Safety and supporting the Club Management Team with the Sustainable Safety Group (SSG) audit.
5. Undertaking cash handling duties and submitting reports to hotel finance.

The preferred qualifications include:

• Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool Responder
• First Aid at Work Qualification
• CIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or above
• Health & Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification of Level 3 or above
