Job summary

West Somerset College Sports Development Centre in Minehead is seeking enthusiastic Casual Leisure Assistants for a part-time, casual role. You will help deliver a friendly experience for all visitors and support the setup and takedown of equipment for activities.

Shifts are part-time with hourly rates of £11.32 for ages 16-20 and £13.03 for ages 21+. The role includes benefits and a positive working environment with flexible options and safeguarding commitments.

West Somerset College Sports Development Centre is located on the site of West Somerset College in Minehead, Somerset. Our Sports Centres offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities, supporting a varied and inclusive programme for the local community.

We are looking for

We are seeking enthusiastic Casual Leisure Assistants to help deliver a friendly and positive experience for all visitors to the Sports Centre.

This is a part time casual position

Hourly rate:

£11.32 per hour aged 16-20

£13.03 per hour aged 21+

About The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering excellent customer care
• Ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Supporting the setup and takedown of equipment for activities
• Assisting with general enquiries and providing a welcoming presence
