Job summary

Mitie Group's Hadley Leisure Centre in Telford invites applications for a part-time Leisure Assistant. You will support a safe and welcoming environment, focusing on pool safety and customer care, while performing general supervision and maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in pool or leisure facilities is beneficial.
• Valid NPLQ is preferred; training may be provided.
• Willingness to attend lifeguard training monthly.

Location: Hadley Learning Community, Waterloo Road, Hadley, Telford, Shropshire, England TF1 5NU
We are looking for a customer focused Leisure Assistant to take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all users of the Leisure Centre, with particular attention being made to those utilising the pool facilities.

You will be required to work as part of a team and individually to perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning, lifeguarding, setting up sports equipment, administering first aid. You will also be expected to complete additional duties assigned to you by your line manager.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and will be enthusiastic in attending lifeguard training on a monthly basis.
