Job summary
4Way Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Security Install & Service Engineer to cover local Leicestershire work. A company van is provided, with overtime and standby pay on the rota, plus 20 days holiday and 8 bank holidays.
The role focuses on installation, servicing and fault finding across intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, intercoms and some fire alarm systems, across domestic, commercial and industrial sites.
Qualifications
- Experience as intruder alarm engineer with strong servicing and fault-finding.
- Good knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
- Some experience with fire alarm systems advantageous.
- Able to work across domestic, commercial and industrial sites.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Leicestershire.
Responsibilities
- Install, service and fault find on intruder alarm systems and CCTV, access control, intercoms and some fire alarms.
- Perform planned servicing, reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Attend emergency call-outs on a rota basis.
- Complete installation work from small to larger projects with potential extra hours.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of works.
- Provide professional customer service and build on-site relationships.
