Wilson Alarm Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Security Installation Engineer in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and will be responsible for the installation of security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install Intruder and Fire Alarms in residential and commercial settings.
• Work in a dedicated installations team across the Midlands.
• Provide maintenance and reactive support as needed.

Job Purpose

Our Installation Engineers work in a dedicated Installations team coveringtheMidlandsinstalling Intruder and Fire Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems into residential homes and small/ medium enterprises as well as into the education sector.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for an experienced Security Installation Engineer with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience. You will be working on a variety of install jobs and key skills and experience are:

• Installation of Intruder Alarm systems mainlyScantronics,TexecomandPyronix
• Installation of Access control / Door entry systems primarily Paxton Net2
• Installation of IP & Analogue CCTV (Hikvision) systems with basic networking skills
• Dual Com monitoring and knowledge of other communication devices
• Familiar with all NSI codes of practice, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance of all above aspects.

In addition to your engineering skills, you should havegood communicationskills as well as enthusiasm, self-motivationand time-management skills. Ideally you will live in a locationnear the cities above. You must have a full, manual driving licence.

Hours and Other details about the job:

Our standard hours are onsite Monday – Friday starting at 8.30 am.

On call rota is1 in 3weeks for whichvery competitiverates are paid.

You will be working in a small, friendly team with the support of dedicated Technical Engineers.You should be flexible and able to cover multiple jobs (typically 1-3 per day, usually comprised of 1 installation and 1-2 PPM/reactive calls).
